Many Westerners initially come to yoga through the postures, seeing the practice as a form of exercise, a way to build flexibility, or a as means of overcoming an injury. But the practice of the postures is just one aspect of what is a much broader philosophical system. In this workshop, we'll go beyond the postures to touch on some of the many other aspects of the path to Yoga. For instance, what is the Eightfold Path? Or Chakras? Or the Bhagavad Gita? We'll have time to just skim the surface of what is a deep and rich tradition, but you'll get an understanding of ways you can begin to deepen your practice, with the hopes of developing an interest in further study. Bring your questions, curiosity, and a notebook.
